This year my husband and I spent our anniversary in Jamaica at the beautiful Excellence Oyster Bay. Nestled on the beautiful shores of Montego Bay, this adults-only all-inclusive resort is the perfect destination for a romantic getaway or a much-needed escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the impeccable service, stunning grounds, and endless amenities. We renewed our vows and spent the week relaxing on the sandy beaches and enjoying the resort's luxurious amenities. Overall, it was a perfect way to celebrate our love and commitment to each other.

The atmosphere at Excellence Oyster Bay was truly magical, with a beautiful, luxurious setting that was the perfect backdrop for a relaxing and enjoyable vacation. The resort is in a stunning location on Jamaica's coast, with spectacular ocean views and lush tropical gardens. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and friendly greetings, setting the tone for our entire stay. The resort offers two options for luxury accommodations: Standard and Excellence Club suites. Like Atelier's Inspira suites, Excellence Club suites provide an elevated travel experience and are perfect for those seeking a truly indulgent getaway. Only guests of the Excellence Club are privy to certain amenities and services, making it the ideal choice for a lavish vacation.

We stayed in a Partial Ocean View Suite, the lowest category of Excellence Club rooms. Despite this, the room was incredibly spacious and had a great ocean view. The jacuzzi tub and private terrace were a lovely added bonus.

As Excellence Club guests, we also had access to two private pools. These were lovely, secluded spaces where we could relax and unwind peacefully. And we were also treated to a hydrotherapy session, which was a truly luxurious experience. We found the beach area in the Excellence Club particularly impressive. It was a quiet and relaxing space, with plenty of comfortable loungers and umbrellas to provide shade. Plus, there was a bar nearby where we could help ourselves to snacks and drinks. And, of course, the beach servers were always on hand to take our orders for more substantial fare.

We highly recommend booking a hydrotherapy session before or after your treatment at the spa for ultimate relaxation!

The entertainment at Excellence Oyster Bay was definitely the best part of our stay. Each night, the resort featured a different show that kept us entertained and captivated. The fire show was awe-inspiring, with stunning acrobatics and mesmerizing fire displays. We also enjoyed the tribute shows, including the Michael Jackson and Bob Marley performances, which were incredibly well done and provided an excellent opportunity to relive the music of these legendary artists. The Jamaican Folklore Show was also a highlight, showcasing the island's rich cultural heritage through traditional dance and music.

One of the most unique experiences at Excellence Oyster Bay was the Silent Dance Party, where guests could wear headphones and choose which DJ they wanted to listen to as they danced the night away. It was a fun and novel way to enjoy the music, and we loved being able to switch between the different DJs.

The food was absolutely delicious, and we were blown away by the variety and quality of the restaurants. One of our favorites was the Lobster House, which offered fresh seafood in an open-air, casual setting near the water. The atmosphere was laid-back, and the food was outstanding, making it the perfect spot to enjoy a relaxed meal. Speaking of seafood, Excellence Club guests must head over to Zenith for a taste of delicious lobster thermidor!

Another standout restaurant was Oregano, which offered delicious Italian cuisine. The pasta dishes were particularly impressive, with perfectly cooked noodles and rich, flavorful sauces. We also highly recommend trying the Jerk Shack for authentic Jamaican jerk chicken. Be sure to ask for the jerk sauce, which adds an extra kick of heat and flavor to the dish.

Finally, be sure to make reservations for the hibachi at Spice, as it can fill up quickly. Otherwise, no reservations are needed at the other restaurants. Additionally, it's important to note that some of the restaurants have a dress code, with men required to wear long pants or jeans and collared shirts for dinner.

In regards to bars, our favorite bar at the resort was the Rum Cocktail Bar inside the Caribbean Grove restaurant. The bartenders were knowledgeable and crafted expertly made cocktails using the finest Jamaican rums. The atmosphere was lively and fun, making it the perfect spot to enjoy a drink and mingle with other guests.

Overall, the food at Excellence Oyster Bay was some of the best we've ever had on vacation, and we can't wait to go back and try even more of the delicious options available.
